Old Fashioned, Hand Made Suckers

When it's sucker making time in the factory, several employees gather around the marble slabs as individual bits of hot sucker mixture are hand cut with huge scissors. The employees then insert sticks and form the round suckers. Ruth Hunt's hand-molded suckers are full of natural flavors and no two suckers are the same shape. The hot Cinnamon is still very popular among those who like the old fashioned burst of heat across their taste buds. The Ale8 is a central Kentucky favorite as we include the "authentic secret ingredient" in each sucker, direct from the Ale8 factory in our sister city, Winchester.
